Ning provides good solution for online Malaysian Hip Hop fan base.

Social networking has been the rage for a long time now. We have seen the ever popular MySpace then came along Friendster, Hi5 and many others until the most recent phenomenon Facebook. All are equally good and many Hip Hop artists use these social online networking applications to reach out towards their specific target audiences.

Ning which allows one to create one’s own online social networking portal offers a lot of flexibility and customization. Whats it allows site owners to use their own domains to tag to their network. Nifty stuff and really good for marketing. Such local Hip Hop acts or establishments that are using Ning’s platform is Kartel Records and more recently Point Blanc.

What the Ning platform offers is pretty much a whole lot of stuff for networking and fan base integration that everything can be accessed with just a single click. It offers individual pages for members, blog posts, forums, photo albums, music uploads and player, video links to YouTube and so much more.

For fans it enables them to contribute directly to the network and share whatever content they have of their favourite Hip Hop celebrity as well as make friends and interact with the artist themselves (of course the artist may appoint someone to manage their Ning networks). My point being is that no longer Malaysian Hip Hop artist have that technological geekery barrier to make their mark on cyberspace or pay a premium to be there. Creating one’s social network is absolutely free on Ning and it is packed with features and customization options.

For Kartel Records and Point Blanc I would like to congratulate on setting up your own fan base network on Ning. Lets just hope that you get the right people in managing them efficiently.

    BUMSQUAD DJ’s Blog

I really don’t know where to begin with this. But I am absolutely happy that finally BUMSQWAD has a blog to share the latest info and tracks in Hip Hop. Latin Prince from what I can personally recall is a genius. This DJ collective that spans across the globe pratically made Akon’s career into what it is today. So you tell me if BUMSQWAD is is just huff and no puff.

Check out the latest tracks soon to hit the clubs or the top 40 charts. If you wanna stay ahead you need to always get it first. Yes, LP writes the entries himself. How personalized can it get?
